It was a fun night in The Hangar on Monday night for the Lady Bomber Volleyball program. Mountain Home brought out the brooms and swept Harrison in the varsity match 3 sets to 0.

The night began with the 7th grade Lady Bombers vanquishing the Goblins in 2 sets by the scores of 25-15 and 25-18. This was followed by the lone win for the Goblins on the evening as Harrison took the 8th grade match 2 sets to 1 and by the scores of 25-19, 19-25, and 10-15.

The most dominant performance of the night came from Mountain Home’s 9th grade team. They would begin the match with a 17-1 lead. Harrison would trim the lead to 24-9 but get no closer as they would drop the first set 25-9. The second set was more competitive but saw the Lady Bombers take the second set 25-18 and the match 2 sets to 0. Maycie Carlson registered 8 kills for Mountain Home. Dawson Harper and Landry Litty both tacked on 5 kills. Avery Carson led the Mountain Home passing attack with 15 assists.

The Junior Varsity would make quick work of Harrison winning 25-15 in both sets.

The night was capped off with the Lady Bombers looking to finish off the season sweep of the varsity Lady Goblins. Mountain Home would get off to a good start taking the first set 25-13. Set 2 would see the Lady Bombers defeat the Goblins 25-19. Set three was off to a sketchy start for the hosts as they would see themselves trail 17-9. The Lady Bombers would lodge their largest comeback of the season to claim the set 25-21 and the match 3 sets to 0. Daelyn Harper was a beast again for Mountain Home as she would nearly collect a triple double racing up 11 kills, 9 blocks, and 9 digs. Lauren Rauls would anchor the defense with 20 digs. Violet Daugherty would lead the passing attack with 21 assists and would be the first Lady Bomber, other than Cara Jackson, to lead the team in assists in a match this season.

Harrison falls to 2-11 on the campaign. Mountain Home moves to 9-8 on the season and will be back in action at Batesville on Tuesday.
