The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is proposing new passing lanes on Highway 62 around Pyatt, between the communities of Harmon and Snow and between Snow and George’s Creek in Boone and Marion counties. The project would improve traffic flow along the busy stretch of highway between Yellville and Harrison.
ARDOT will hold an in-person public meeting Thursday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30. at Pyatt Baptist Church, located at 10868 Highway 62 West in Yellville. The open house meeting will allow attendees to view exhibits, speak with project staff, and share comments.
A project website is available with materials, including a video presentation, downloadable exhibits, and an online comment form. Comments will be accepted through 4:30 on Friday, Oct. 24.
