
The Mountain Home Bombers football program received a special visit last week from members of the Arkansas Diamonds, an arena football team based in Hot Springs.Members of the Diamonds made the trip to Bomber Stadium on Thursday to meet with players, coaches, and staff, sharing words of encouragement and advice about leadership, teamwork, and pursuing excellence both on and off the field.
On Friday members of the Diamonds attended Coffee Talk at Farmers and Merchants bank, KTLO’s Jesse Zurcher spoke with Arkansas Diamonds head coach Bones Bagaunte to discuss the upcoming season.

The Arkansas Diamonds, formerly the Hot Springs Wiseguys, are going through some changes following the team’s acquisition by The Dels Corporation. Coach Bagaunte speaks about the transition.

Coach Bagaunte was named Coach of the Year in 2024 as he led the team all the way to the Arena League championship game in their inaugural season, but fell just short of the title, falling to the Duluth Harbor Monsters. Although they lost, Coach Bagaunte says it felt good to be recognized for his hard work.
