The Mountain Home Seventh Grade Bombers wrapped up their season Tuesday night, falling to Batesville 14-0 for the second time this year.

Despite the loss, the Bombers showed plenty of grit and determination. Mountain Home moved the ball up and down the field behind strong blocking and tough running from Oakley Blagg, who finished the evening with more than 90 rushing yards.

Defensively, the Bombers were led by Casen Johnson, Nathan Schrekenthaler, Willie Laney, Leeman Tucker, and Ethan Forbus. The group played with enthusiasm and good pursuit but was again hurt by big plays, including a long crossing route that turned into a 75-yard touchdown, sealing the game for the Pioneers.

The loss ends Mountain Home’s seventh grade season with a 2–5 record. In their first meeting earlier this season, Batesville also came out on top 14-0. Several Bombers saw action in that contest, including Zander Vandershoot, Hayden Daniels, and Jaxson Taylor, who each gained valuable experience throughout the season.
