
A special council meeting Monday evening for the City of Flippin ended with no change in the city’s millage rate.
The tax rate will remain at 2.2 mills – a rate that has not changed since 1999 according to Mayor Heath Hogan. The mayor says the goal of the meeting was not to entertain raising taxes.
