
A 6-year-old girl from Yellville was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Missouri Monday afternoon. The girl was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old man from Yellville.The girl was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of what were termed moderate injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release the names of anyone involved in motor vehicle or boat accidents.
According to the accident report, the crash happened when a vehicle driven by a man from Mansfield was turning around and pulled out in front of the vehicle driven by the Yellville man. After the vehicles collided, both wound up in the ditch.
The accident happened on Missouri State Highway 5, one mile south of Mansfield at 3:20 Monday afternoon.
