Lisa House has announced her candidacy for re-election as Justice of the Peace representing District 6 on the Baxter County Quorum Court.

House, who has served since January 2025, said she is seeking another term to continue promoting fiscal responsibility, transparent local government and community growth that maintains the county’s rural character.

“It has been a privilege to serve the residents of District 6,” House said. “I’ve worked hard to listen to our community, make practical decisions for taxpayers and ensure that county government remains open and accountable. I want to continue that work and help move Baxter County forward responsibly.”

During her time on the Quorum Court, House has supported infrastructure and public safety improvements while emphasizing responsible budgeting and communication with residents.

If re-elected, she said her priorities will include accountability in county operations, infrastructure upgrades, balanced growth and continued direct communication with constituents.

“My door has always been open to the people of District 6,” House said. “I’m committed to being a hands-on representative who listens, responds and works to make Baxter County a great place to live.”

House lives in Gassville and has been an active member of the Baxter County community for many years.
