No. 16 Missouri clinched bowl eligibility with a 23-17 double-overtime win at Auburn on Saturday, overcoming a fourth-quarter deficit behind a late surge from Beau Pribula and a dominant defensive stand.

Pribula ran for the game-winning 3-yard touchdown in the second overtime as Mizzou (6-1, 2-1 SEC) avenged its 2022 overtime loss to Auburn and extended its win streak over unranked opponents to 22. The Tigers also improved to 7-1 all-time in games decided in multiple overtimes.

Ahmad Hardy scored twice on the ground, including a 3-yard run that tied the game at 17 midway through the fourth quarter. Pribula finished with 252 passing yards and 49 rushing yards, while Donovan Olugbode led Missouri receivers with five catches for 69 yards.

Zion Young paced Mizzou’s defense with two of its five sacks, and the visiting Tigers held Auburn (3-4, 0-4) to just six yards on its final four plays. Auburn kicker Alex McPherson missed three field goals, including a potential winner in regulation.

Missouri returns to action Oct. 25 at Vanderbilt.
