High School volleyball postseason begins across 4A, 3A, and 2A regions

The postseason is underway for high school volleyball in Arkansas, with regional tournaments kicking off this week across the 4A, 3A, and 2A classifications. Brookland, Hoxie, Harding Academy, and Cotter are hosting regional matchups, with the top four teams from each region advancing to the State Tournament.

3A East Regional – Hoxie
The 3A East Regional in Hoxie features Walnut Ridge vs. Flippin at noon, Crowley’s Ridge Academy vs. Cave City at 2, Harrisburg vs. Melbourne at 4, and Hoxie taking on Bergman at 6. Semifinal matchups will be determined by the Monday winners, with the championship game scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

3A South Regional – Harding Academy
Harding Academy will host the 3A South Regional, with their own team facing Ashdown at noon Monday. Further quarterfinal matchups and the semifinal schedule will be determined by Monday’s results.

2A East Regional – Cotter
Cotter High School hosts the 2A East Regional, with a full slate of quarterfinals Monday. Piggott faces Izard County at noon, Cedar Ridge plays Palestine-Wheatley at 2, Cotter battles Lee at 4, and Corning takes on Marshall at 6. Winners advance to the semifinals Tuesday, with the championship game set for Wednesday at 4.

Updates and scores from all the regionals will be provided throughout the week as teams fight for state tournament berths.
