The Mountain Home Bomber JV Football squad was back in action on Monday at Bomber Stadium. The Bombers welcomed the Jonesboro Hurricane to town and defeated them 26-6, completing the season sweep of Jonesboro. The last matchup required overtime, this one did not.
The first quarter saw Mountain Home put 14 points up on the board with two touchdowns. Both on the ground, one from Maddox Haynes and the other from Seth Lara. Kobe Dotson would tack on a rushing touchdown of his own to bring the Bombers to a 20-0 lead into the halftime break. Dotson wasn’t finished as he would push for another touchdown to give the Bombers a 26-0 lead. Jonesboro would score late but they would get no closer as Mountain Home would finish off the game in a 26-6 victory.
Mountain Home’s JV season finale will be next Monday against West Plains back at Bomber Stadium.
