Dirk Waldrop announces bid for fifth term as Baxter County Justice of the Peace

District 4 Justice of the Peace Dirk Waldrop has announced he will seek reelection to the Baxter County Quorum Court. Waldrop, a Republican, is pursuing his fifth term.Waldrop served 25 years in the United States Army as an infantry officer. He is a member of the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, the Military Officer’s Association of America, the Baxter County Republican Committee, and is a contributor to Judicial Watch and the Foundation for Economic Education. He currently serves as president of the Baxter County Republican Men’s Club and chairs the Quorum Court’s Personnel Committee.

KTLO News spoke with Waldrop who explains why he decided to run for re-election.

Waldrop owns Ozark Dynamics, a defensive firearms training company that works with private citizens, law enforcement, and government agencies. His wife, Michelle, is employed at Baxter Health. The couple has two children, a son attending the University of Arkansas and a daughter studying law at Wake Forest University.
