The Cotter City Council will hold its regular meeting Thursday evening at 6 in the council chamber.

Among the agenda items, the council will hear updates on two ongoing property cleanup cases. A summons was delivered Oct. 15 to the owner of 427 McLean after the city filed a complaint in Baxter County Civil Court earlier this month. The city is seeking court approval to proceed with cleaning up the property.

The council will also receive an update on Ordinance 2025-05 concerning 433 South Avenue. The city attorney is in the process of locating the property owner to serve a court order for cleanup, and a notice of the ordinance has been posted at the residence.

In new business, B.J. Richardson with Viking Industrial Painting will present interior inspection photos of Cotter’s water tanks located on Highway 62/412 and Powell Avenue. Richardson is expected to outline a proposed five-year plan for repainting the tanks.
