Turning to the senior girls’ action, Calico Rock stayed perfect to start the season. The Lady Pirates rolled past Pangburn 56-31 to improve to 2-0, while the Lady Tigers drop to 1-1.
Valley Springs picked up a win in their season opener as the Lady Tigers topped Lead Hill, handing the Lady Tigers their second straight loss.
And Rural Special suffered their first setback of the year, falling to Buffalo Island Central 61-34. The Lady Rebels are now 2-1, while Buffalo Island Central starts the season 1-0.
