Friday night football: Melbourne travels to Yellville-Summit, Mountain View hosts Salem

Friday night brings a full slate of high school football across the region. Melbourne, sitting at 3-4, will travel to Yellville-Summit, which is still looking for its first win at 0-7. Marshall, 4-3 on the season, will host Friendship Aspire Southeast, who are 0-1. Izard County, coming off a 1-6 mark, hosts 4-3 Marked Tree, while Harrison, also 3-4, hits the road to take on Vilonia, who share the same record. Salem sitting at 7-0 will hit the road to take on a 3-4 Mountain View team.

Over in Missouri, Ava, 4-4, travels to Willow Springs, who are 3-5. Hollister, 5-3, heads to Reeds Spring, which has yet to find the win column this year at 0-8. Buffalo, 2-6, visits Forsyth, who sit at 4-4, and West Plains, 6-2, travels to take on 5-3 Carl Junction.

In Arkansas Sports Media’s Top Ten, #1 Bryant, undefeated at 7-0, takes on Cabot, 2-5. #4 Greenwood crushed Van Buren Thursday night, 56-3. Pulaski Academy faces #5 Conway, #6 Joe T. Robinson takes on Searcy, and #10 Benton will square off with Little Rock Catholic.
