
The Mountain Home Lady Bomber volleyball team had their season finale on Thursday. The Lady Bombers would tangle with the Nettleton Raiders for the final match of the Lady Bombers season. After the 25-20 JV set victory, Mountain Home honored its 7 seniors; Kori Scroggins, Cara Jackson, Daelyn Harper, Lauren Rauls, Lorelai Green, Aspen Vostatek, and Kenna Medley in a pre-game senior night ceremony.
Mountain Home would begin the match with a hefty 25-15 victory over the Raiders. Set two saw Mountain Home lead from wire-to-wire and sneak out a 25-23 victory. Set 3 saw Nettleton spoil a potential sweep for the hosts as the Raiders took a 25-18 victory. Mountain Home would get back to their winning ways and take the final set 25-16.
The Harper Family had a dominant night for Mountain Home as Daelyn Harper would have 13 kills and 8 blocks. Dawson Harper would add 9 kills, along with 2 blocks, 4 aces, and 4 digs. Newly called up freshman Avery Carson would lead the passing game for Mountain Home with 24 assists. Karly Goes would tack on 18 assists. The defense was anchored by Lauren Ruals with 21 digs. Aleigh Lucas would have 6 kills and 5 blocks of her own. Seniors Lorelai Green and Aspen Vostatek added 7 kills apiece. Maddie Simmons added 10 digs and Kori Scroggins tacked on 7 digs.
Mountain Home finishes with an 11-12-1 record overall and an 8-8 record in the 5A-east.
