Arkansas State (3-4) returns home to face Georgia Southern (3-4) in Sun Belt play on Friday.
The Red Wolves are coming off a 15-14 win over South Alabama, while the Eagles defeated Georgia State 41-24 last week.
Arkansas State averages 362.7 yards and 22.1 points per game, led by quarterback Jaylen Raynor, who has thrown for 1,660 yards and nine touchdowns. Receiver Chauncy Cobb leads with 474 yards on 40 catches.
Defensively, A-State allows 448.4 yards and 29.1 points per game. Georgia Southern enters averaging 364.6 yards and 29.4 points but ranks last in the FBS in rushing defense, surrendering 237.3 yards per game.
The Red Wolves control possession for over 31 minutes per game, compared with Georgia Southern’s 27 minutes, while both teams look to even their records in conference play.
