In the 2A Centennial Bank State Volleyball Tournament at Piggott Monday night, Marshall’s season came to an end with a straight-set loss to Ozark Catholic, 3-0.
Magnet Cove advanced with a 3-1 win over Cedar Ridge, while Quitman also moved on after defeating England 3-1. Host team Piggott wrapped up the night by sweeping Guy-Perkins 3-0.
Tuesday’s action continues with St. Joseph meeting Ozark Catholic at noon, followed by Hackett facing Magnet Cove at 2. Cotter will take on Quitman at 4, and Taylor will battle Piggott in the nightcap at 6.
If Cotter advances, the Lady Warriors will play the winner of Taylor and Piggott Wednesday at 4.
