Shannon (Silzell) Walker of Gassville has announced her bid for reelection as District 10 Justice of the Peace in Baxter County. Walker will appear on the Republican ballot in the 2026 primary election.
A Baxter County native and 1992 graduate of Mountain Home High School, Walker and her husband, Luke, operate a full-time farm and cattle business. The couple has been married for 33 years and has two adult sons who also live and work in the area.
During her tenure on the Baxter County Quorum Court, Walker has served on the budget, building, environmental, and legislative committees. She currently serves as president of the Baxter County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and is an active member of Arkana Baptist Church.
“It’s been an honor to serve the citizens of not only District 10 but all of Baxter County the last two terms,” Walker said. “I would sincerely appreciate your vote in the upcoming primary so I can continue to serve my community.”
