A second person has been arrested following a search Wednesday at a residence on Highway 62 East that resulted in the discovery of more than 10 pounds of methamphetamine. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Hannah Bray of 5555 Highway 62 East has been taken into custody and charged in connection with the case. Her husband, Wesley Bray, was arrested at the time of the search.
Investigators say the search uncovered approximately 10.8 pounds of methamphetamine along with related drug paraphernalia. Additional investigation determined Hannah Bray had full knowledge of the drugs and of sales that had been made from that batch.
She has been booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on felony charges of trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bray is being held in lieu of a $150,000 bond and is set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on Nov. 3. She is also being held on a probation violation.
The investigation is continuing.
