The Earle High School football team has self-reported the use of an ineligible player and will forfeit two victories from the 2025 regular season, a development that once again benefits Izard County Consolidated.
The Arkansas Activities Association confirmed that both Izard County and McCrory will be awarded conference victories and the maximum 13 playoff tiebreaker points as a result of the forfeitures.
This marks the second straight week Izard County has received a retroactive win after another school self-reported eligibility violations. Last week, Marked Tree also forfeited a game under similar circumstances.
No additional penalties have been announced, and Earle’s forfeits officially adjust the record books for both affected games.
