The Arkansas women’s basketball team (3-0) looks to keep its perfect start alive Thursday night as it hosts Southeastern Louisiana (1-1) at Bud Walton Arena. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m., with live coverage on SEC Network+, featuring Brett Dolan and Matt Zimmerman on the call.
The Razorbacks and Lady Lions will meet for just the second time in Fayetteville and third time overall. Arkansas has dominated the series, winning the first two meetings by wide margins – 97-40 in 2000 and 97-53 in 2015.
Arkansas enters the matchup fresh off an 89-77 overtime win over Central Arkansas, a game in which the Hogs erased multiple double-digit deficits. Freshman Bonnie Deas led the way with 18 points and 12 rebounds, earning SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second straight week after posting back-to-back double-doubles.
Thursday’s contest also marks a milestone for head coach Kelsi Musick, who will coach her 100th Division I game.
After Thursday’s matchup, Arkansas will hit the road for the first time this season, traveling to Texas Tech on Sunday.
