Pattie Jo Robertson Wilson, 94 Mountain Home (Kirby)

Pattie Jo Robertson Wilson of Sycamore Springs Senior Living in Mountain Home, AR, left on her “final fantastic tour” on November 14, 2025. She was born on April 9, 1931, to Patrick and Lolette Lemons Robertson in Sanderson, TX. She graduated from El Paso High School. She worked as a telephone operator and later worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company. She married Louis Wilson, Jr. in 1949. They lived several places including the Navajo Indian Reservation in Leupp, AZ, and in Texas, Louisiana, Montana and Arkansas.

Pattie’s love of travel and adventure led her to 67 countries, several more than once, from Mt. Everest in Nepal to the Amazon River in Brazil and Peru; from Fiji Island to Kenya, Africa.

She volunteered in every place she ever lived, from PTA President to tour guide at Bull Shoals Dam from community theater to docent on the tall ship Elyssa in Corpus Christi, TX and at Berclair Mansion in Beeville, TX. She also volunteered at Van Matre Senior Center, Hackler Intermediate School, and many others.

Survivors include son Steve (Elena) Wilson of Cotter, AR, daughter Shirley Wilson Hartman, RN (Jesse Wascom) of Franklinton, LA, grandson David Percival and ElizabethTownsend, both of Mansfield, TX, great granddaughters Gracie and Libby Percival, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Van Matre Senior Center. At Pattie’s request, there will be no service.
