
The Baxter County Quorum Court voted last week to appoint Samuel Seamans as interim county coroner. Seamans will replace Bradley Hays, who he worked with over the past decade to help build the current coroner’s office.Seamans, who previously served as chief deputy coroner and currently works as a part-time detective with the Mountain Home Police Department, will serve the remainder of Hays’ unexpired term through Dec. 31, 2026.
KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News spoke with Seamans, who explains why he decided to “throw his name in the hat.”
