The Salem Greyhounds are headed to the semifinal round of the state playoffs after powering past Osceola 32-6 on Friday night. The Seminoles landed the first punch, getting on the board early with a first-quarter score, but that would be the end of their momentum.
Salem settled in during the second quarter, finally breaking through to tie the game and then taking complete control. From there, the Greyhounds never looked back, stacking up 32 unanswered points to put the game out of reach and keep their postseason run alive.
With the win, Salem moves on to face Mansfield next week. The Tigers earned their spot with a 50-21 victory over Bismarck last night.
