A Jonesboro woman is being held on a $10,000 cash-only bond after police say she threatened to kill her daughter with a box cutter during a domestic disturbance late last month.
Craighead County District Court Judge David Boling found probable cause Monday to charge Lasundra Farrow, 44, with first-degree terroristic threatening and first-degree assault on a family or household member.
According to an affidavit, officers responded Nov. 26 to Garden Manor Estates, where the victim told police her mother had threatened to kill her while armed with a knife. She reportedly locked herself in a room and contacted 911 by text message. Detectives said she described the weapon as a yellow box cutter.
Investigators reported finding a box cutter with its blade exposed on the couch where Farrow was sitting when officers arrived.
Farrow is scheduled to appear in Craighead County Circuit Court on Jan. 23.
