The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County is known as a place to learn, gather and explore, and much of that is being powered by the Library Foundation working behind the scenes.
This year, the foundation is focused on one of its biggest projects yet, to fund a new three-quarter-mile walking trail that will connect the library’s property to existing paths at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home and McCabe Park. The Arkansas Department of Transportation is covering most of the cost, but the Foundation must raise the rest. The trail will give area students a safer walk to the library and open the door for more outdoor programs.
