A reminder for motorists in downtown Mountain Home Monday, Mountain Home City Street crews will be removing traffic signals at the intersection of Highway 62B and 8th Street. Traffic control measures will be in place and drivers should expect lane shifts, reduced speeds and possible delays in the area.
As part of this traffic control modification, the section of West 8th Street between Highway 62B and Hickory Street will be permanently vacated. Access from Highway 62B to that section of West 8th Street will be barricaded.
Once the traffic lights are removed, motorists approaching Highway 62B from East 8th Street or South Main Street will have a stop sign starting Monday.
