Chad Hudson named new CEO of FNBC Bank

Hudson brings over 35 years of experience to the role.

Chad Hudson, will become the next Chief Executive Officer of FNBC Bank on January 1 the community bank announced Monday. Hudson, currently president, will also join the FNBC Board of Directors.



Sellars looks to more time for family as he passes the torch.

He will succeed Marty Sellars, who has led the bank as CEO since 2016 and will transition to Executive Vice Chairman while remaining on the board.

Hudson joined FNBC in 2011 as Community President for the Mountain Home market and has held several leadership positions, including Chief Lending Officer, Executive Vice President, and Regional President. Over the past decade, he has played a central role in expanding markets, strengthening lending strategies, recruiting key personnel, and leading strategic initiatives.

As CEO, Hudson will oversee daily operations while guiding long-term strategic planning, with a continued emphasis on growth, market expansion, and FNBC’s commitment to the communities it serves.

Hudson brings more than 20 years of banking experience, including leadership roles as president and chief credit officer prior to joining FNBC. He serves on the board of the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center and holds a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Southwest Missouri State University.

Chartered in 1912 as the Bank of Ash Flat, FNBC has 14 offices across North Central and Northeast Arkansas and South-Central Missouri and manages more than $840 million in assets.

Sellars, a native of Izard County, said he plans to spend more time with family and enjoy the outdoors, while remaining involved in guiding the bank’s strategic direction.
