The Mountain Home Bombers Boys Wrestling team kicked off its 2025-26
campaign with a Tri-Meet in Greenbrier against Greenbrier and Benton.
The Bombers came away with two wins, beating Benton 47-36 and
Greenbrier 48-18.
In the first dual against Benton, the Bombers picked up wins by fall
from Seth King, Mason Shimmel, Corbin Lefevers, Steven Sturges, Eason
Recktenwald, and Calin Frounfelter. Adding to those wins was Zhan
Baker who won by Technical Fall. In exhibition action, Trey Watson and
Mak Smith picked up falls for the Bombers.
In the second dual against Greenbrier, the Bombers picked up wins by
fall from Austin Hammond, Mason Shimmel, Steven Sturges, Eason
Recktenwald, and Calin Frounfelter. Adding to those wins were Seth
King and Ethan Milucci by Technical Fall, and Trey Watson and Corbin
Lefevers by Major Decision. In exhibition action, Mak Smith added a
fall for the Bomber.
The Bombers are back in action on Saturday in Marshfield, MO, when
they compete in the Bluejay Duals.
