Bergman came out firing in the first quarter taking a 14-8 lead on the back of Brinley Collins who had 7 of her 16 points in the first quarter. The 2nd quarter saw Mountain Home lock in defensively as they outscored the Panthers 11-6 in the quarter, but would still trail 20-19 going into the halftime break.
