Mays ran through the same red light again, nearly colliding with two vehicles. He then went through a stop sign at Walnut and Bower, again nearly striking a vehicle. Once the car went through the intersection, the officer said Mays’ vehicle came off the ground going towards Dry Jordan Creek.
Officers searched the area and found Mays’ vehicle in the ditch of Dry Jordan Creek, but it was unoccupied when they arrived. They later found Mays walking through a yard on Bunn Avenue with blood all over his arms. They called out to him multiple times, but he wouldn’t stop. When officers stopped and announced who they worked for, Mays took off running.

Once he was taken into custody, Mays was transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center to be checked out. While the transporting officer was putting him on a bed, Mays head butted him in the nose and then kicked an EMT in the side of the head.
Once he was cleared by medical staff, Mays was taken to the Boone County Jail.
