
Central Arkansas fell to East Texas A&M 75-68 on Sunday night at the Field House, surrendering a halftime lead after being outscored by 10 points in the second half. The loss drops the Bears to 4-6 overall.Central Arkansas led 35-32 at the break after a back-and-forth opening half capped by a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Luke Moore. Ty Robinson and Cole McCormick helped the Bears build their early edge with key baskets, including a Robinson 3-pointer and a McCormick dunk.
East Texas A&M surged in the second half, tying the game on a 3-pointer from Damian Garcia less than a minute in and pulling ahead behind a late run led by Gianni Hunt, who added a layup, a 3-pointer and free throws in the final moments.
Camren Hunter led Central Arkansas with 20 points and two steals. Robinson added 16 points, while Moore and McCormick finished with 11 each.
Central Arkansas travels to Vanderbilt on Saturday, Dec. 13, with tipoff set for 5:30 at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville.
