Miles Wellein has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace for District 9 in Marion County. Wellein previously served in the role after being appointed in 2023 by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
A decorated Army combat veteran commissioned in 2009, Wellein has served on the Law Enforcement and Personnel Committees and emphasizes responsible, transparent local government. He and his wife, Jenna, along with their son, are residents of Marion County.
Wellein will face Republican John Rosenthal in the March primaries next year.
