The final day of the Reddog Invitational featured a top 5 matchup in Class 5A. The night got off to a flying start as Vilonia would get out to a 20-18 start to end the first quarter. Brooklynn Mitchell would spark the Lady Bombers with 7 of her 11 points in the 2nd quarter to help vault the Lady Bombers into a 38-36 lead at the halftime break. Mountain Home would extend their lead to 56-51 sparked by Jayla Yonkers who had 8 of her game high 21 points in the 3rd quarter. Mountain Home, who even had a 5 point lead with under two minutes to go, would go dry in the fourth and final stanza as the Eagles would close out the 70-66 victory over Mountain Home.
The Lady Bombers were led in scoring by Jayla Yonkers with 21 points, Laken Anderson added 17, Livi Fosness chipped in 12 points and Brooklynn Mitchell had 11.
Mountain Home moves to 6-3 and finishes the Reddog Invitational 1-2. The Lady Bombers will be back in action on Tuesday at Jasper.
