The Cotter 5th and 6th grade Quiz Bowl team took first place in the Battle of the Buzzers Tournament in the 1A – 3A division Wednesday.

KTLO News spoke with both Black and Hughes, who described what they enjoy most about Quiz Bowl, and how it felt when the final question sealed Cotter’s win.

The team, coached by Lisa Coots, also includes Elodie Raycraft, Wyatt Blair, Matilda Kawai, Lucy Benham, Alyssa Milner, and Finley Williams.
Cotter hosted the event at ASUMH, using the campus facilities for the competition.
