
A free learning session focused on cognitive communication will be held at 1 Tuesday afternoon at the Mruk Family Center on Aging. The one hour class is designed to help individuals better understand the difference between normal age related cognitive changes and more serious concerns that may require medical attention.
Diahanne VanGulick, Coordinator at the Mruk Family Center on Aging tells KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News that Allison Dunn, speech-language pathologist at Baxter Health will be there to offer first-hand experience when dealing with communication and verbal skills.

The class is open to the public at no cost and those interested are encouraged to call ahead to sign up but walk-ins are welcome. The Mruk Family Center on Aging is hosting the event, which will take place at its facility on Tuesday afternoon.
