It was a rough Monday night for Salem’s senior boys, who dropped to 0-7 on the season after a 67-57 loss to Highland. The Rebels came in at 4-10 and pulled away late to secure the win.
Melbourne’s senior boys also came up short, falling 73-46 to Paragould. Melbourne slips to 7-5 on the year, while Paragould improves to 6-3.
On the girls side, Melbourne continued its strong start to the season. The Lady Bearkatz, now 13-1, rolled past Paragould 55-29 on Monday night. Paragould’s girls fall to 4-8 with the loss.
