Razorbacks close Non-Conference play against Arkansas State

Arkansas women’s basketball will wrap up non-conference play Sunday with an in-state showdown against Arkansas State.

The Razorbacks enter the matchup at 11-3 and riding a four-game winning streak after an 82-73 victory over Stephen F. Austin. Junior forward Jenna Lawrence led the way with 24 points and 11 rebounds, recording her first double-double of the season. Arkansas dominated the glass with 63 rebounds — the program’s most in a game since 2018 and the second-highest total by an SEC team this season. Freshman Bonnie Deas added 13 rebounds, her eighth double-digit rebounding effort, including 10 in the first half.

Arkansas State comes in at 10-3, setting up a competitive in-state matchup to close the non-conference slate.
