Eighteenth-ranked Arkansas opens SEC play Saturday by hosting No. 19 Tennessee at Bud Walton Arena. Tipoff is set for 2 , with the game televised on ESPN2.

Fans are encouraged to take part in a Stripeout of Bud Walton Arena for the conference opener.

This marks the second straight season the Razorbacks and Volunteers have met to open SEC play. Last year, Tennessee claimed a 76–52 win in Knoxville, part of an 0–5 start to league play for Arkansas.

Arkansas played one of the nation’s toughest non-conference schedules, facing five top-25 opponents—one of only nine teams nationally to do so. Tennessee faced four ranked teams, including Kansas, which was unranked at the time of their matchup.

The Volunteers become the fifth team on Arkansas’ schedule this season that reached the Elite Eight a year ago. Looking ahead, the Razorbacks face a demanding SEC slate, with ESPN rating Arkansas’ remaining 18-game conference schedule as the ninth toughest in the country. All 16 SEC teams rank among ESPN’s top 16 in toughest remaining schedules.

Following Saturday’s matchup, Arkansas heads out on the road, traveling to Ole Miss on Wednesday, before facing Auburn on Saturday.
