Missouri heads to Kentucky after SEC-opening win

Missouri (11-3, 1-0 SEC) looks to build on its conference-opening victory when the Tigers visit Kentucky (9-5, 0-1 SEC) on Wednesday night at Rupp Arena in Lexington. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

The Tigers opened SEC play with a 76-74 win over No. 22 Florida on Saturday. Anthony Robinson II led Missouri with 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Trent Pierce and Jayden Stone returned to the lineup with 10 and nine points, respectively.

Senior Mark Mitchell tops Missouri with 16.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, with Jacob Crews (13.9), Stone (12.7) and Robinson (11.5) also scoring in double figures. The Tigers are averaging 83.2 points per game while allowing 71.6 this season.

Missouri will look to make it two SEC wins in a row against a Kentucky team still searching for its first league victory.
