
Bomber Swim returned to the pool after the winter break on Tuesday at the Pocahontas Invitational and came away with 3rd place.
The Bombers were led by Benny Vetter, who captured first place in the 50-yard freestyle. Bryce Litty also had a big night in the event, posting a personal-best time by nearly two seconds. Litty continued his strong performance with another personal best in the 100-yard breaststroke.
On the girls side, Callie Kohler once again turned in an impressive showing, winning the 50-yard freestyle. Annabelle Horn finished right behind her in second place and recorded a personal-best time that also qualified her for the state meet. Kohler went on to dominate the 100-yard backstroke, earning another first-place finish. Horn picked up another personal best in the event, while Avery Haney shaved more than 20 seconds off her time.
Additional personal bests on the night came from Tyler Edwards and Levi Kaspar, both of whom improved their times in the 100-yard freestyle.
