Cardinals avoid arbitration, agree to one-year deals with seven players

The St. Louis Cardinals announced Thursday that they have reached one-year contract agreements with all seven of their arbitration-eligible players, avoiding salary arbitration for the 2026 season.

Alec Burleson, Brendan Donovan, Nolan Gorman, Matthew Liberatore, Lars Nootbaar, Andrew Pallante and JoJo Romero all agreed to terms for the upcoming season.
