Mountain Home Public Schools and the Twin Lakes Community Foundation are partnering on a new early literacy initiative called Bomber Storytime, set to take place during select home basketball games in January and February. The event kicks off Friday and continues on Jan. 13, Jan. 23, Feb. 3 and Feb. 24. Bomber Storytime will be held between the varsity girls and boys games and is open to children ages 10 and under from both Mountain Home and visiting school. Each child will receive a free book and small giveaways.

Funding for the books and giveaways is provided through a grant from the Twin Lakes Community Foundation. Executive Director Kimberly Jones said early literacy is a key focus of the foundation’s Giving Tree grant program.
