Harrison falls at Greenwood; Flippin dominates Cave Men

High school gyms where busy Friday as conference play continues across the region.Harrison was on the road to face a tough rival at Greenwood. The Lady Goblins fells to the Lady Bulldogs 63-47 with the boys teams in a closer match but Harrison fell again with final score of 63-59.

Yellville Summit struggled at Bergman with the girls match ending in a Bergam win 60-22. The Panthers couldn’t answer back in the boys match falling to a final score of 72-50.

Flippin’s boys had a strong showing at home as they hosted Cave City. The Bobcats chased off the Cave Men with a final score of 82-51.

Salem fought hard hosting Melbourne but the Bearkats took the sweep. The Lady Greyhounds fell in a final score of 49-45 followed by the boys final of 69-40 in favor of the visitors.

Jasper traveled to Lead Hill and improved their season’s record on the boys side to 20-2. Final score for the Pirates was 62-60. The Lady Tigers fought hard but couldn’t over come Jasper’s strong offense with a final score of 54-31.
