Pinkston School held its annual spelling bee this week, with winners in each grade earning a chance to compete at the upcoming Baxter County spelling bee at The Sheid.
In sixth grade, Relena White took first place, Abby Foster finished second, and Stella May placed third.
Seventh-grade winners were Pruett Sutton in first, Gavin Piland in second, and Zayne Mattos in third.
The first and second place winners from each grade will represent Pinkston at the county competition, with the date to be announced.
