The Arkansas State women’s basketball team looks to keep its hot streak going Wednesday when the Red Wolves host Old Dominion at 11 a.m. at First National Bank Arena. A-State is coming off a sweep of Southern Miss, with senior Zyion Shannon leading the charge, scoring 26 points in the latest win.

The Red Wolves are 12-7 overall and 4-3 in Sun Belt Conference play. Arkansas State is averaging nearly 79 points per game and shooting 68.6% from the free-throw line, with Shannon, Wynter Rogers and Mia Tarver leading the team in scoring, rebounds and 3-pointers, respectively.

Old Dominion enters at 16-4 overall and 7-1 in conference play. The Monarchs have struggled on the road in Sun Belt games but are led by Simaru Fields and Riley Stack, with Fields contributing points and assists and Stack anchoring the defense with 2.4 blocks per game.

The series between the two teams favors ODU, 2-1, including a seven-point win in Norfolk last season. A-State will look to even the series and build momentum heading deeper into conference play.

Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday and will be played at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro.
