
AECI Utility Solutions and six Arkansas electric distribution cooperatives have dispatched 177 lineworkers and support personnel to assist with power restoration efforts in Mississippi and Tennessee following Winter Storm Fern.
Crews from Clay County Electric of Corning, Craighead Electric of Jonesboro, South Central Arkansas Electric of Arkadelphia and Woodruff Electric of Forrest City are assisting Tombigbee Electric Cooperative in Mississippi. AECI Utility Solutions of Little Rock is also providing support to Tallahatchie Electric Power Association. Those combined efforts include 124 lineworkers and support personnel.

An additional six AECI Utility Solutions right-of-way crew members are headed to assist Tishomingo County Electric Power Association in Luka, Mississippi.
In Tennessee, crews from First Electric of Jacksonville, North Arkansas Electric of Salem and AECI Utility Solutions are assisting Pickwick Electric Cooperative and Cumberland Electric Cooperative. That team consists of 47 lineworkers and support personnel.
The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas include the state’s electric distribution cooperatives, Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Inc., which provides services to those systems, and Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp., a generation and transmission cooperative. Together, the distribution cooperatives provide electricity to more than 1 million members across Arkansas and surrounding states.
