Gassville City Council to meet Tuesday, to consider budget and ordinances

The Gassville City Council will hold its regular January meeting Tuesday at 6 in the Community Center at 204 S. School St. The public is invited to attend.

On the agenda, council members will consider the third reading of Ordinance 2025-12, which would amend the city’s personnel handbook to add a cybersecurity policy, an internet policy, and an AI policy. The second reading of Ordinance 2025-14, which would allow utility task vehicles to operate on city streets under state law, will also be discussed.

New business items include consideration of the 2026 city budget, reconciling the 2025 budget, and reviewing the organization of government, including meeting schedules, procedural rules, and appointments of committee and commission chairs. The council will also consider a resolution supporting the state-run federal property surplus program.

Dylan Osmon is scheduled to address the council regarding development on Patton Court.
