Several North Central Arkansas girls’ basketball teams received recognition in the Arkansas Sports Media weekly poll for the week ending Jan. 24, with Mountain Home, Mountain View, Melbourne, and Bergman among those receiving votes.
Mountain Home holds the No. 10 spot in the overall poll with a 15-6 record. The Lady Bombers also ranked fourth in Class 5A behind Farmington, Greene County Tech, and Vilonia.
Mountain View leads the Class 3A poll with a 20-3 record, while Melbourne and Bergman share the fourth spot in the same classification. Norfork received votes in Class 1A.
Other regional teams receiving votes in the overall poll include Valley Springs. These rankings highlight the strong performances of the area’s girls’ programs as the season moves deeper into conference play.
