
Fresh off two Conference USA road victories, Missouri State (12-8, 6-3 C-USA) returns home Wednesday to face the Sam Houston Bearkats (13-7, 5-4 C-USA) at Great Southern Bank Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:02 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Bears sit alone in second place in the C-USA standings and are 9-2 at home this season, including 3-0 in league play. Missouri State is coming off consecutive road wins at UTEP and New Mexico State, highlighted by senior Michael Osei-Bonsu’s 19 points and nine rebounds per game, earning him Conference USA Co-Player of the Week honors.
Forward Keith Palek III has scored in double figures in 18 of 20 games and ranks among the top 10 in C-USA in scoring, rebounding, and assists. Freshman Trey Williams Jr. is approaching Missouri State’s top 20 for freshman scoring, while junior Kobi Williams has made multiple 3-pointers in 11 straight games.
The Bears rank second in C-USA in scoring margin, rebound margin, and steals, and have posted a +11.4 scoring margin in home games this season. Missouri State is also sixth nationally in free-throw rate, highlighting its ability to get to the line.
